Ayurvedic Medicine
Andrew Leavenworth, B.A. Child Development, M.S. Ayurveda, M.S. Homeopathy
Ayurveda means “knowledge of life” and it is an ancient “science of living” that originated in India for balancing body, mind and spirit. The supreme emphasis of Ayurveda is prevention of disease through strengthening the digestive function, along with diet, exercise, breathing and seasonal cleansing and rejuvenation practices that are in alignment with the individual constitution you were born with. To remove toxic accumulations or to restore depleted tissues Ayurveda uses herbs, bodywork treatments with warm herbal oils followed by steaming or hot compresses. Ayurveda also features multiple specialized treatments including those for muscles and joints that have been injured or are weak, stiff, or painful.

Andrew Leavenworth’s explanation of Ayurvedic medicine clearly illustrates the need for balance of all three Doshas. His demonstration of the warm oil treatment and massage communicate tranquility and healing through the motion of his hands and sound of his voice. Very nice piece.
Seems worth while to me
this was a great intro; well done I want the massage!
Your blog is so informative
Whatever women do they must do twice as well as men to be thought half as good. Luckily this is not difficult.

Great article, thank you. I am very interested in finding a diet that lowers my sugar intake. I currently have a sweet-tooth, and am finding it difficult to find meal plans, what to eat for snacks, etc. While diabetes is not something that runs in my family, I am still concerned and would like to be smart and take a proactive approach to my health.

Excelent web page, I recently came across it and I am already a fan. I just reduced my weight thirty pounds in 30 days, and I want to share my weight loss success with as many people as possible. Unless we can identify our passion, we will find it difficult to visually and creatively attract and create powerful effects on our outer life such as, success, wonderful relationships, a great career, wealth, health and happiness. To help discover our passion we have to let go of our expectations of how our life is supposed to be and also what we think other people expect of us. These all stand in the way of getting in touch with our PASSION.
This is such a great resource that you are providing and you give it away for free. I enjoy seeing websites that understand the value of providing a prime resource for free. I truly loved reading your post. Thanks!

Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
hi,i like your blog
Barbara, I would not recommend treating without knowing what is happening, there can be kidney disease, liver disease , tapeworms etc.
Ayurvedic medicine now gains a very important place in our day to day life also. SPA, Sauna treatment, Acupuncture, all is the different parts of the alternative medicine. Acknowledging the people’s demand in the Ayurvedic treatment, numerous number of Ayurvedic treatment centers are mushrooming in almost all the corner of the country. They offer treatments, to relief from the several non- curable diseases also. Some chronic pain, arthritis, high blood pressure, diabetes and much other illness can be treating under the Ayurvedic treatment procedures.
You, my friend, ROCK! I found just the info I already searched all over the place and simply could not locate it. What an ideal website.
