The Nature of Quantum-Theta Healing

May 16th, 2011 by Barbara Hyman

I used to believe that you could eat healthy, exercise, and stay away from carcinogens as best you can, but, if you got sick, were diagnosed with cancer for instance, there was nothing you could do. You’d have to submit yourself to traditional forms of treatment.

After being introduced to the Deep Emotional Release Bodywork, almost 20 years ago, my experience began to teach me that you may be able to avoid disease by releasing blocked energy, and allowing the free flowing of your body’s internal energy systems  - the immune system, the energy fields that acupuncturists work with, for instance.  We could feel and notice depression clearing with this type of work, relaxation came in – a type of confidence that was grounded, and brought about high energy and connection with Self, creative expression and nature.

Almost every client we met with cancer would tell about the amount of stress they were under, or the deep emotional pain they were suffering prior to being diagnosed.  Most eventually got to the point where they were grateful for their disease, for what it had taught them, and for the forgiveness and openness of their heart  that they found during their healing process.

I can’t say I would refuse chemo, or radiation if I had cancer. I can’t know what I would do, until presented with that situation. Most people, when presented with the alternatives, will do anything they’re told might help save their lives. But I also know from experience, that doctors are only people, who often have their own agenda, and are usually not up on the latest effective alternative treatments. If you tell them you’re not sure you want to accept their recommended treatment, they may criticize or try to disempower you.  This attitude of discounting alternative treatments is part of the medical culture.

If I had cancer, I’d do my own research of alternative treatments that others had used to naturally heal the same disease. I’d trust my instincts, and listen the best I could to what my own body was telling me.  Usually doctors are in a hurry to operate, radiate, or treat. I wouldn’t rush into anything before I had the chance to do my own research. But that’s just me. Each person must make these difficult decisions for themselves.
