Self-awareness is critical in understanding what you manifest in your life. The root of all manifestation starts with our emotional state…. in other words, how we feel about a given subject or point of focus. The challenge for most of us in determining our emotional state is that we live in a society that programs us to live in pseudo-states of emotion awareness. We are both consciously and sub-consciously told what to feel, how to feel and when to feel. And this is done at such a permeated level in our daily lives that we often become disconnected from truly seeing our own authentic emotions… our authentic selves.
As you examine a challenge (whether it be specific or general), bring careful attention to how you feel and identify that particular emotion (or range of emotions) with specific words. Even if at first you find difficulty in defining your emotions, stick with it and do your best to apply words to the feelings. You may discover that your true emotions are very different than what you instinctually first thought. Take this time to define your authentic emotions regarding all situations in your life and be honest in that process. Identifying and defining your authentic emotions will provide you a secret wisdom in discovering what you truly want.
